Traditional tea bowl for preparing and drinking matcha. The broad interior allows the whisk to move freely, while the proportioned profile sits comfortably in both hands.
Wheel-thrown and carved with kurinuki technique using a recycled mix of European stoneware, and coated in a deep studio-made black glaze.
Fired to 1260°C for durability and everyday use.
