Lidded vessel for brewing loose leaf tea. The lid is used to control the infusion and the pour into the cup. The wide bowl allows the leaves to open full and makes for a perfect summer vessel, as the temperature of the tea lowers faster.
Wheel-thrown using European stoneware, and studio-made glazes.
Fired to 1260°C for durability and everyday use.
